Aluminium Scaffold Towers

Our aluminium scaffold towers arrive as matched frames, braces, decks and base plates, and they are erected as complete bays rather than loose tubes. A standard tower reaches working heights that suit ceiling works, facade repair and signage installs, and every level carries a load notice before anyone steps on it. We inspect the joints, the deck locks and the toe boards on handover, then photograph the finished tower and log the reference. Towers can be supplied as a supply-only kit for trained site teams or as a fully erected and tagged service.

Mobile Access Platforms

Where a tower would block a corridor or a lift lobby, we bring mobile access platforms instead. These units roll on locking castors, fold through doorways and set up in minutes on level floors. We match the platform to the task: a low work platform for under-ceiling cabling, a wider deck for two-person inspection work, or a compact unit for plant rooms with limited headroom. Each delivery includes a brake check, a guard rail check and a short briefing note so the site team knows the intended use and the limits of the unit.

Ladder and Step Systems

Not every access task needs a full tower. Our ladder and step range covers platform steps, extension ladders, combination ladders and specialist loft and roof access sets. We supply fibreglass models for electrical work and aluminium models for general duties, and we match the duty rating to the crew and the tools being carried. Every ladder leaves the yard with intact feet, clean stiles and a legible duty label, and hire customers can add stabilisers, stand-off brackets or spreader bars so the ladder is footed safely rather than leaned and hoped for.

Fall Protection Gear

Working at height is only as safe as the harness on the wearer. We hire full body harnesses, adjustable lanyards, shock absorbers, anchorage slings, temporary lifelines and roof anchor points, and we record each item serial number against the hire ticket. Gear is inspected before it leaves the yard and again on return, with worn or impact-loaded items withdrawn from service and replaced rather than patched. Site teams that need a full fall protection plan can ask us to match harnesses, lanyards and anchor points into one coherent kit for the task.

Site Erection Service

Our erection crews build the tower so the customer does not have to. We survey the location, check the floor or ground, lay sole boards, set base plates, level the first bay and work up in controlled lifts. The crew fits guard rails, toe boards and braces as it climbs, and it does not leave a level open and unguarded. On completion the tower is tagged with its reference and the customer receives a short handover note. Dismantling runs to the same sequence in reverse, with components counted back into stillages so nothing is left on site.

Weekly and Monthly Hire Plans

Long jobs need predictable cost more than they need daily flexibility. Our weekly and monthly plans hold a tower, platform or harness set for the agreed term at a fixed rate, with swaps and additional components arranged through a single account contact. Plans include routine inspection visits, replacement of worn lanyards, and delivery or collection inside normal working hours. Customers on a monthly plan get priority on same-week erection slots, which keeps phased works moving when a previous phase overruns by a day or two.

Send a description, a photo or a drawing of the access point. We confirm headroom, floor loading, travel routes and the working height needed, then propose the smallest safe system.

STEP 02

Quote and Allocation

You receive a written quote that lists every component, the hire term, delivery windows and erection charges. On acceptance we allocate the equipment and hold the slot.

STEP 03

Delivery and Erection

The crew delivers on the agreed window, lays sole boards, builds the tower or positions the platform, fits guard rails and toe boards, and tags the finished structure with its reference.

STEP 04

Handover and Records

You receive a handover note with the load notice reference, the inspection date and the return terms. Records are filed against NS EQUIPMENT LIMITED account so future phases are quick.

STEP 05

Inspection and Support
